Nancy and I lived 1 block away from each other until our senior year. We walked to Lincoln School and HS together. We remained best friends after high school, and took family vacations together.
Nancy faught hard and long against cancer. She went into remission for 4 years and then it started over again. We would talk to each other 2-3 times per week. I truly miss her.
