Miss Loretta Dailey
Miss Loretta Dailey, 73, of 3 Grand View Terrace, who taught mathematics at Batavia Junior High School for 45 years, died at 11:10 pm Thursday, August 21, 1969 at St. Jerome hospital where she had been a patient since July 21.
Miss Dailey was born in Chicago Ill., June 19, 1895, a daughter of T.J. and Margaret McDermott Dailey. She was a graduate of Perth Amboy High School, Perth Amboy, N.J., and the former St. Mary's College, Plainfield, N.J. She was a member of the Retired Teachers Association, St. Jospeh's Church and its Altar and Rosary Society.
Survivng are a nephew, Walter F. Dailey of Niagara Falls, two great-nieces, a great-nephew, and a great-great niece.
Her brother Harold died in 1945
Services will be at St. Joseph's Church at 10:am Saturday. Interment will be in Perth Amboy. There will be no calling hours.
Memorials may be made to the Cancer Society, St. Joseph's Building Fund, or a charity of the donor's choice. Arrangements were made by the Bohm Mortuary.
